> LIVING ASPHALT_ performance
(2010)
To paint the potholes means both highlight the danger to the road users and show the problem to those who would heal the wound.
> CONCRACK LAMPS_ table and pendant lamps
(2010)
"Concrack Lamps" is a series of table and pendant lamps made of concrete. The cans are
reused as inner surface for the lamps. The form is given by a cast of cement in the
mold in which previously was added the can. This one is enclosed by cement becoming
one piece. When the lamp is switched on, the heat emitted by the source tends to crack
the concrete, that through internal armature remains in place. In this way an object
produced in (small) series becomes unique.
Cement is one of the major source of illicit income for criminal organizations like
camorra. To be cheaper, the cement is often mixed with inappropriate materials.
After the Abruzzo's earthquake, were discovered cases of public buildings built with
cement mixed with sea sand. Over the years, salt has deteriorated the iron structure
making it very fragile.
> ASPHALT THAT LIVES_ signaling system for holes

Holes on the asphalt are dangerous for motorbikers safety, but we know that it is not
possible to repair the streets dayly. Anyway the asphalt could show the danger in the
meantime it appears. In this way human's capacity and perception are increased,
creating the condition for a rapid reaction.

> ALIVE NATURE_ garden picture
Exhibited at Roma design + (Rome,it) (2006)
Inspired to the art of Chinese garden, Alive Nature is a picture to cultivate at home.
The differents quality of grass will create textures. These will be discovered only
when the grass will be definitively grown; leaving a sense of mistery and uncontrollable
during days in wich time is controlled by the city's frenesy.
